About Project AMESS
Lower your energy bills with hastle free solar installation
Project AMESS is a statewide community initiative dedicated to helping Floridians lower their energy bills and access reliable, affordable solar power. The program supports qualified residents across Florida in making the transition to clean energy through practical, accessible solar solutions.
Single-Family Homes
The program provides eligible homeowners with a rooftop solar system installed with no need of financing or colateral while they reside in their home. Participants enjoy the benefits of solar ownership-clean energy, long-term savings, and lower electric bills-without the financial burden of traditional installation costs or the weight of debt.
Multifamily Affordable Housing
The program also works with owners of qualifying multifamily properties to bring solar power to their communities. Owners benefit from guaranteed 20–40% reductions in electricity costs from day one, creating immediate savings and promoting sustainable living for Florida families.
Because installation capacity is limited, applications are available to a select number of qualified households. Project AMESS is committed to educating participants about the benefits of solar energy, promoting energy efficiency, ensuring consumer protection, and supporting local clean-energy jobs that strengthen communities across Florida.

Educational resources and ongoing support to help homeowners make informed energy decisions.

What the program is about
Project AMESS is part of a statewide effort to make clean, affordable energy accessible for more Floridians.
We share the same mission as many organizations across the state that are working toward a sustainable energy future - including leaders such as Solar United Neighbors, SELF (Solar and Energy Loan Fund), and The Nature Conservancy Florida.
Together, these initiatives are helping Floridians reduce energy costs, promote education, and strengthen local communities through clean-energy solutions.

Project AMESS is part of a broader effort to expand access to clean, affordable energy for Florida families. Across the country, federal and state programs continue to support initiatives that make solar energy more accessible to households of all income levels. Project AMESS works independently with licensed partners and available clean-energy programs to help residents lower their energy costs and transition toward a more sustainable future.
